What is behind a Good Cup of Coffee

Water is the most essential ingredient in Coffee brewing, first of all you need to use hot water for brewing because hot water is more soluble and therefore, it will take less time to brew coffee. Secondly you must insure to have good quality of water for brewing coffee, because if there is any taste in the water, it will leave a bad taste in the brewed coffee.  So it would be highly recommended to use highly purified and distilled water for brewing coffee.

There are some other things needed to keep in mind involving the use of water, for example the water to coffee ratio, you need to used required amount of water for coffee brewing for a particular amount of coffee.  The increase or decreasing water to coffee ratio will affect the quality of brewing. You can easily find the “water to coffee ration chart” for better coffee brewing. In the “coffee brewing chart” you will know about the amount of water needed to brew a certain amount of coffee.

Secondly the temperature of water matters a lot, while brewing.  Some coffee brewing experts suggest that the temperature of water supposed to be 190 c to 210 C. water is always a best solvent near boiling temperature. This way coffee will be brewed easily and properly.

Another thing need to be kept in mind is the water and coffee contact time, for example if you start brewing, how much time it takes to for water and coffee to mix properly. It is recommended to use good quality grinder for this purposes. There are also some very ideal brewing practices for best result, you need to use grind coffee before you start brewing. Secondly you need to used good quality of grinder for this purposes

Try using filtered and soft water for coffee brewing, because, this way you will be able to make a perfect tasting coffee. Most importantly, you need to know how much coffee to prepare for you in one time, because coffee will remained fresh only for 10 minutes then taste and color may change. So know the exact amount of coffee you will use at that time only. So choose your water wisely as it is essential to a good cup of coffee and the brewing process.

Turkish Coffee Taste & Tradition

Maybe your coffee connoisseur have you experienced a new kind of coffee that really gives a special aromatic blend? And this coffee is called Turkish coffee with heavenly, pure and strong taste.  Once you try it, you will enjoy it’s bold pleasant and richly aromatic taste.

Turkish coffee is surprisingly easy to make. This is cooked through boiling of the powdered coffee beans in a pot. Grinding it in a mortar and roasting the coffee beans are the process also for preparation. There are also people using hot water alone and adds pure sugar or syrup until it dissolves. Thus, it is a unique method of making coffee. The traditional Ottoman way of making Turkish coffee is by cooking it over hot coals that have burned for a long time. You can also cook it in any fire pit anywhere. Actually, the name Turkish coffee describes the method of preparation not its ingredients.

Turkish coffee is originated from Ethiopia and Yemen as well as the parts of Saudi Arabia on the early 11th century. It was first discovered as a good source of medicine and accepted as a drinking coffee by the late 15th century. At the early 16th century it spreads to Cairo, Turkey and other Middle East countries. And yet it became famous and popular throughout the entire world.

Many Turkish coffee aficionados drink this in an extremely hot temperature with a glass of cold water in order to better taste it. Mostly in Mediterranean countries they added pistachio into the coffee. Some also served this with chocolate sticks and cookies.

Today, Turkish coffee has became a world class beverage, and widely popular drink. Turkish coffee has many different names and variant in every country. It has been an addiction to most coffee lovers and enthusiasts. So enjoy the  aroma with every sip.
