Water is the most essential ingredient in Coffee brewing, first of all you need to use hot water for brewing because hot water is more soluble and therefore, it will take less time to brew coffee. Secondly you must insure to have good quality of water for brewing coffee, because if there is any taste in the water, it will leave a bad taste in the brewed coffee. So it would be highly recommended to use highly purified and distilled water for brewing coffee.
There are some other things needed to keep in mind involving the use of water, for example the water to coffee ratio, you need to used required amount of water for coffee brewing for a particular amount of coffee. Most importantly, you need to know how much coffee to prepare for you in one time, because coffee will remained fresh only for 10 minutes then taste and color may change. So know the exact amount of coffee you will use at that time only. So choose your water wisely as it is essential to a good cup of coffee and the brewing process.
